DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart – Carolina Panthers – These two players have coexisted in the Carolina backfield for a few years now and have both produced good fantasy numbers. Right now, Williams has an average draft position of 20 and Stewart is around the 43rd player taken in most drafts.

Both players are studs and there will be enough opportunities to go around in Carolina – guaranteed!

2. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams – Miami Dolphins – These guys are getting older but their work load is likely to remain the same. Expect a 50/50 split in carries in Miami which should amount to 15 or so touches each per game. Average draft position for Brown currently sits at 60 while Williams is around the 96 player taken.

Good value for two players with experience and who are in an emerging offense.

3. Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush – New Orleans Saints – Mike Bell has moved on and Lynell Hamilton is out for the year leaving only Thomas and Bush to battle it out for touches. You can expect 15-20 touches for each of these guys in an extremely high powered offense. Average draft position for Thomas is 40 and for Bush, it’s 73.

Either guy could produce for your Fantasy squad.

Other situations that could prove beneficial are Kansas City (Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones), Arizona (Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower) and New York Giants (Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw)

The Bad

1. Fred Jackson, Marshawn Lynch and CJ Spiller – Buffalo Bills – First of all, the Bill are a horrible team that may not get as many rushing opportunities as a team that will win games.

Second of all, nobody knows who is going to get the bulk of the work for the Bills. This is definitely a situation to stay away from. One of these players may have a good game or two but neither will be dependable enough to have on your Fantasy team.

2. BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Fred Taylor, Laurence Maroney and Kevin Faulk – New England Patriots – The Pats have run the ball in the preseason but no one back has emerged.

This will be a “ride the hot guy” situation all season with none receiving more than about 10-12 touches per game. I wouldn’t touch one of these guys under any circumstance.

3. Clinton Portis, Larry Johnson, Willie Parker and Ryan Torain – Washington Redskins – This situation would be confusing enough but the presence of Mike Shanahan makes it almost impossible to figure out.

All of these guys (Except Torain) are old and will need to be spelled off in order to keep them fresh.

Nobody has emerged in training camp making it a situation to steer clear from.

Other situations that I will be staying away from include Seattle (Leon Washington, Julius Jones and Justin Forsett) and maybe Dallas (Marion barber, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice).

How about it, owners?
