Fantasy Football Draft Guide – Cheat Sheets & Player Rankings<\/p>\n

Pre-season is nearly upon us, so for the next few weeks we encourage you to be checking out our\u00a0FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE<\/strong><\/a> for all your rankings and analysis for the upcoming league drafts that your going to be participating in. <\/p>\n

Top 20 Fantasy Rankings \u2013 Tight Ends <\/strong> \"\"<\/p>\n

Fantasy time!! Last year turned out to be a good one for Tight Ends and this year could be very similar. If you missed out on the Top Tier of wide receivers, you could do yourself a favor by drafting one of the top Tight Ends to compensate.<\/p>\n

Take a look at the 2010 edition of my Fantasy Tight End rankings and let me know if I\u2019m on to something or if I\u2019m full of crap!<\/p>\n

Bye weeks are listed in brackets after the players name and team.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Vernon Davis SFO (9)<\/strong> \u2013 Davis scored a mind boggling 13 touchdowns last season establishing himself as one of the most dangerous receiving weapons in the NFL. He\u2019s #1 based on potential. He\u2019s skilled, athletic and finally mature enough to be called a super star.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Antonio Gates SDC (10)<\/strong> \u2013 Gates is a lock for 1000 yards receiving and 8 touchdowns. With Vincent Jackson out for the first few games of the season, Gates could come out of the gate extremely strong.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Dallas Clark IND (7)<\/strong> \u2013 As big a part of the offense as anyone, Clark has developed an amazing rapport with his future Hall of Fame quarterback. He will once again come close to 1000 yards receiving and score his customary 9-10 touchdowns.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0Brent Celek PHI (8)<\/strong> \u2013 Kevin Kolb loves this guy and vice versa. In both Kolb starts last year, Celek had 8 catches, 104 yards and a score. 1000 yards and 8 touchdowns is not a stretch.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Tony Gonzalez ATL (8)<\/strong> \u2013 Gonzalez had one of his worst statistical seasons in a long time last year but it still wasn\u2019t that bad. He appears to have lost a step but 80-90 catches and 6-8 touchdowns is certainly attainable.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0Jason Witten DAL (4)<\/strong> \u2013 Only scored two touchdowns last season largely because of the emergence of other weapons on the team. He\u2019s more of a possession Tight End now who should still get his yards and his catches but maybe not a whole lot of touchdowns.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0Jermichael Finley GBP (10)<\/strong> \u2013 Finley is this year\u2019s sleeper Tight End and with good reason. He looked brilliant at times last season but was slowed by injury. He should be good for 800 or so yards and 6-8 touchdowns.<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0Zach Miller OAK (10)<\/strong> \u2013 Zach Miller was fairly successful with JaMarcus Russell. The Raiders have a serious lack of receiving threats, leaving Miller as the only reliable guy. Jason Campbell showed with Chris Cooley that he loves his Tight Ends! LOL!<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0Kellen Winslow TBB (4)<\/strong> \u2013 Winslow is the only real receiving threat on the Buccaneers and Josh Freeman knows this. Winslow is going to have to be a big part of the offense or the Bucs will have miserable season.<\/p>\n

10.\u00a0Visanthe Shiancoe MIN (4)<\/strong> – Shiancoe has 11 touchdowns last year \u2013 11! We all know that Brett Favre loves to use the Tight End (Bubba Franks) and that if he returns; Shank will have another good year. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

11.\u00a0Owen Daniels HOU (7)<\/strong> \u2013 Daniels would be higher in the rankings if he didn\u2019t tear up his knee last season. Although Daniels doesn\u2019t score a ton, he is that possession receiver that every elite team has. He may not be Top Tier, but he is solid.<\/p>\n

12.\u00a0Chris Cooley WAS (9)<\/strong> \u2013 There\u2019s good and bad with Cooley. The good is that he has Donovan McNabb throwing him the ball and look what McNabb did for Brent Celek. Also Kyle Shanahan is in at offensive coordinator and he made Owen Daniels that player he is. The bad is the fact that he\u2019s coming off an injury and that Fred Lewis emerged during Cooley\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n

13.\u00a0John Carlson SEA (5)<\/strong> \u2013 Carlson was used to block mostly last season but with Chris Baker on the scene, he will get more opportunities to catch the ball. He\u2019s a 3rd<\/sup> tier tight End at best.<\/p>\n

14.\u00a0Heath Miller PIT (5)<\/strong> \u2013 Every season, Miller is ranked in the 12-16 range and every year he ends up with Top 10 numbers. He had at least five catches in ten games last season and could start for your team.<\/p>\n

15.\u00a0Greg Olsen CHI (8<\/strong>) \u2013 Olsen\u2019s potential went out the window with the arrival of Mike Martz as offensive coordinator. Martz is murder on Tight End stats and this year should be no different.<\/p>\n

16.\u00a0Dustin Keller NYJ (7)<\/strong> \u2013 Has averaged about 530 yards and 2.5 touchdowns in his two seasons \u2013 expect about the same. The upside is the fact that he was heavily used during the Jets magical playoff run last season.<\/p>\n

17.\u00a0Jeremy Shockey NOS (10)<\/strong> \u2013 Has not been an impact player in New Orleans \u2013 just 100 catches, 2 touchdowns and 1000 yards combined over two seasons.<\/p>\n

18.\u00a0Bo Scaife TEN (9)<\/strong> \u2013 He will get 40-50 catches 500 yards and 2-4 scores – not too much to get excited about!<\/p>\n

19.\u00a0Kevin Boss NYG (8)<\/strong> \u2013 Boss is a fantasy backup who\u2019s rarely used in the Giants\u2019 offense. Don\u2019t expect a whole lot.<\/p>\n

20.\u00a0Todd Heap BAL (8)<\/strong> \u2013 Heap, when healthy and younger was a threat. Now older, worn down and threatened by some rookies on the team, Heap doesn\u2019t hold a lot of value.<\/p>\n
