The staff will scour the free agent pools in fantasy land for the best available talent every week. Availability, of course, depends on the league. We\u2019re using 12 team, 15 roster spot leagues as the median, but we\u2019ll look for roster candidates for leagues of all shapes and sizes. Grab the following before NFL Week 6. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>After all of the weekly games are finished be sure to check our cheatsheets, a who\u2019s hot, and who\u2019s not report plus more in our fantasy football guide. Without wasting any more of your time, here is the Week 6 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickup List, for the NFL games going on this week (Week 6). Good Luck!!!<\/p>\n<h2>QUARTERBACKS<\/h2>\n<p><strong><strong>1.\u00a0Kyle Orton, Bears<\/strong><br \/>\nComing off a career-best 334-yard performance and now\u00a0should be owned in all leagues.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Gus Frerotte, Vikings<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\nYou could do a lot worse than Gus on your bench as a bye week fill in. (See Derek Anderson)\u00a0Get the guy who faces the Lions this week.\u00a0Everyone lights it up versus the little cats.<\/p>\n<h2>RUNNING BACKS<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. Cedric Benson, Bengals<\/strong><br \/>\nWhile he was expected to only see a few touches on Sunday, Benson ended up carrying the ball 10 times for 30 yards.\u00a0Is worth acquiring in all leagues<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>2.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Warrick Dunn, Buccaneers\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>In week 5 Dunn had a 11-carry, 74-yard performance against the Broncos, which of course was his best outing of 2008.\u00a0He\u00a0eserves a roster spot as a backup in most leagues<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Justin Fargas, Raiders\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nHe opened the season as the starter in Oakland, and now he&#8217;s healthy again. But are the Raiders? LOL. I&#8217;ll wager\u00a0that Fargas will touch the ball 15 times this week. That makes him a decent start. \u00a0With McFadden still ailing, Fargas is worth a look in all leagues.<\/p>\n<h2>WIDE RECEIVERS<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. Steve Breaston, Cardinals<\/strong><br \/>\nHe had 77 yds in week 5. Boldin had surgery to repair a fracture in his face, so as long as he remains sidelined, get Breaston active as a No. 2 or 3 WR on your team<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Bobby Engram, Seahawks<\/strong><br \/>\nReturned last week with an 8 catch performance, if you&#8217;re in a PPR league you have to own Engram. \u00a0Engram was thrown to 11 times in the game and was the only legitimate receiving option once Deion Branch went down with an injury\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Reggie Brown, Eagles<\/strong><br \/>\nBrown has strung together two solid fantasy performances in a row, as he had\u00a0six catches for 79 yards last week. \u00a0Brown is back on track and merits a roster spot in all leagues.\u00a0Consider him a No. 3 or 4 Fantasy option Week 6 in San Francisco.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Dominek Hixon, Giants<\/strong><br \/>\nHixon came up big last week with Plaxico Burress serving a suspension, and had over 100 yds and a TD by halftime, then he suffered a partial concussion. \u00a0For now, plan on being without Hixon for Week 6 at Cleveland, but continue to monitor his status.\u00a0The Giants offense is clicking right now and they have a favorable upcoming schedule .<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Brandon Stokley, Broncos<\/strong><br \/>\nEddie Royal could miss some time. If you lost Royal or you\u2019re just looking for a viable receiver, consider adding Brandon Stokley.\u00a0\u00a0Stokley has 13 catches in his last two games and Cutler is starting to find him a bit more, monitor the health of Royal and Scheffler for DVR.<\/p>\n<h2>TIGHT ENDS<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. Greg Olsen, Bears<\/strong><br \/>\nHad another TD in week 5 vs. the Lions, and is really emerging as a go-to target for Orton.\u00a0He\u2019s posted 122 yards and a touchdown over the last two games on seven catches, and is worth a roster spot. \u00a0Consider him a low-end No. 1 TE when he plays at Atlanta in Week 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>D\/ST<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. Minnesota Vikings<\/strong><br \/>\nNot flashy by any means, but they get the Lions in Week 6.
