Rivers threw two interceptions at home in last season\u2019s 17-14 loss to the Jets in the playoffs, dulling the polish on an otherwise excellent regular season in which he led the Chargers to 11 straight wins and was at times the best QB on the planet. The Chargers\u2019 biggest off-season move was dumping running back LaDainian Tomlinson and turning the ball-carrying responsibilities over to Darren Sproles and overall No. 12 draft pick Ryan Matthews. <\/p>\n Tomlinson\u2019s 24 yards gained in 12 carries in the loss to the Jets ended any doubt that LT was cooked. <\/p>\n Matthews and Sproles should be an upgrade, and the offense should have no trouble moving the chains. Wideout Vincent Jackson will miss the first three games due to a suspension, so the early looks will go to Malcolm Floyd and Antonio Gates. Bills refugee Josh Reed is also in the WR mix. <\/p>\n THE WAY IT LOOKS NOW<\/strong> \u2013 You can\u2019t beat somebody with nobody, but the division should tighten a bit this season.
