Palmer ranked 16th in the league with an 83.6 passer rating last season, and the Bengals have added a few more arrows for his quiver \u2013 signing free agent wideout Antonio Bryant to take some pressure off Ochocinco, and adding highly touted tight end Jermaine Gresham in the draft.<\/p>\n The move to a more pass-oriented offense may be evidence that the Bengals don\u2019t fully trust Cedric Benson, who has never been known to turn down a drink and has had a slew of off-field incidents, some of which have included police and nightclub bouncers. The most recent occurred in late June, and while many Bengals players have a history of brushes with the law, Benson\u2019s latest indiscretion, in June in Texas, surely got their attention.<\/p>\n Defensively the Bengals have the talent to hang with the Steelers and Ravens in the North. Dhani Jones, who has led the team in tackles for two straight seasons, is one of the best linebackers in the business, and the secondary is solid. <\/p>\n The pass rush should be strengthened by the return of end Antwan Odom, who had 8 sacks before suffering a season-ending Achilles tendon tear last year.<\/p>\n THE WAY IT LOOKS NOW<\/strong> \u2013 The schedule could eat this team alive this season.
