This translates into Atlanta\u2019s chances being promising.<\/p>\n Sun, Oct. 10 @ Cleveland <\/strong> – The Dawg Pound hasn\u2019t been imposing for some time now, and the Dirty Birds should be expecting to be coming away with a road W here.<\/p>\n Sun, Oct. 17 @ Philadelphia <\/strong> – This rivalry goes back to the days when hardened criminal Michael Vick was under center for Atlanta. Matt Ryan and WR Roddy White must effectively counter-attack to keep pace.<\/p>\n Sun, Dec. 5 @ Tampa Bay <\/strong> – So long as [Tampa RB] Cadillac [Williams] isn\u2019t once again in the garage, we should have a watch-able game here.<\/p>\n Sun, Dec. 12 @ Carolina <\/strong> – The Falcons better be in the mood to stop the run in this divisional road game before Christmas.<\/p>\n Sun, Dec. 19 @ <\/strong>Seattle<\/strong> – The Dirty Birds have a long flight to get to this road game; they hope they can leave with positive results to get them in the holiday spirit.<\/p>\n Mon, Dec. 27 <\/strong>NEW ORLEANS<\/strong> – The penultimate test. The reigning Super Bowl champs come onto Falcons turf, looking to assert their dominance as the playoffs approach. If Atlanta is to be regarded as a serious contender, it needs a good showing against the Saints in this game.<\/p>\n Sun, Jan. 2 <\/strong>CAROLINA<\/strong> – If wet-behind-the-ears quarterbacks Matt Moore and Jimmy Clausen have exceeded Carolina\u2019s expectations and the Panthers are contending for the division, there could be plenty at stake in the NFC South in the final game of the season.<\/p>\n
