Spain is battle tested and ready to seriously challenge for the 2010 World Cup. If Euro 2008 is any indication of what this team is capable of, look out world! With strikers David Villa and Fernando Torres, midfielders Andres Iniesta and Xavi and arguably the best keepers in the world Iker Casillas, Spain is poised to be there at the end. They qualified easily, scoring nearly three goals per game along the way. Round of 16 opponents will be Brazil, Ivory Coast or Portugal \u2013 yikes!<\/p>\n

There is no doubt that Spain is one of the elite sides at this year\u2019s World Cup. Expect nothing less than a semi-final appearance with a finals appearance more likely.\u00a0 I think that Brazil will prove too much for Spain in the final however. <\/strong><\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Chile: (FIFA Ranking: 15)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Chile \u2013 Odds To Win World Cup: +4000<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chile emerged in second place in their qualifying Group just behind Brazil and ahead of teams like Argentina! Chile, despite being a young team boasts a wealth of international experience. With former Argentina coach leading the side, Chile could impress at this year\u2019s tournament. Chile did finish third at the 2007 U-20 World Cup. A second place finish in Group H is certainly not out of the question here. In fact, it is likely.<\/p>\n

Chile World Cup Predictions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chile should finish second in the Group but a Round of 16 match against Brazil looms. Unfortunately for Chile, Brazil will spell the end of their 2010 World Cup.<\/p>\n

Switzerland \u2013 Odds To Win World Cup: +15000<\/strong><\/p>\n

A disappointing showing at Euro 2008 may have sent some off of the Swiss band wagon but a U17 World Championship has given Swiss supporters some hope. They are an experienced side with some (Albert Bunjaku) playing very well for their club sides. Switzerland could sneak into second place and advance to the Round of 16 but a third place Group finish is more likely.<\/p>\n

Switzerland World Cup Predictions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Switzerland should finish third in Group H but if they somehow finish second, Brazil awaits them in the Round of 16.<\/p>\n

Honduras: (FIFA Ranking: 40)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Honduras \u2013 Odds To Win World Cup: +50000<\/strong><\/p>\n

Honduras is unquestionably the weak link of Group H. The will be hard pressed to keep up with the Spanish Chileans and the Swiss in the Group despite having a lot of International experience as a side and boasting players that have competed in almost every major league in the world. Honduras had a difficult time in qualifying and should have a difficult time in a tough Group H.<\/p>\n

Honduras World Cup Predictions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Honduras will go home without a win in the 2010 World Cup. A draw would be a miracle.<\/p>\n

Group H should produce one of the World Cup finalists while the other team emerging out of the Group will have the impossible task of facing Brazil in the Round of 16. First place is all but locked up with second place being highly contested. Group H should be fun.<\/p>\n
