Flyers vs. Bruins Preview <\/strong><\/p>\nWhat a difference a week makes. Last week at this time, the Boston Bruins could do no wrong and appeared poised to punch their ticket to their first Conference Final since 1992. A week later and Boston appears to be on the ropes against a Philadelphia team who is looking to make history by becoming only the third team in NHL history to recover from a 3-0 series deficit. <\/p>\n
The Philadelphia Flyers took a long time to get going in their series with the Boston Bruins but now that they have it going, they look as lethal as any team left in the post season. <\/p>\n
Mike Richards has been a monster on offense for the Flyers and is definitely getting the better of his matchup with All-World Boston defenseman Zdeno Chara. <\/p>\n
Ville Leino \u2013 who??? looks like the second coming of Evgeni Malkin and Simone Gagne\u2019s return to the lineup has brought leadership as well as a scoring touch. Offensively, Philadelphia is clicking making the Flyers a scary team to play. <\/p>\n
Defensively, Chris Pronger has logged nearly thirty minutes per game for the Flyers but is showing no signs of letting down. The supporting cast has been good too. <\/p>\n

Brian Boucher goes down; Michael Leighton enters on the very same day that he was activated from injured reserve. He contributed with 14 saves is Game 5 to preserve the shutout and was one minute away from a solo shutout in Game 6. Ya \u2013 I`d say that the Flyers are fine in net. <\/p>\n
The Jekyll and Hyde Boston Bruins are sliding downhill right now. Although the spirit remains, the scoring touch and winning results are gone. Boston has one goal in the last two games with seemingly no answers to their scoring woes. It may just be a blip, but it is more likely a product of the Bruins overachieving a little bit in this year`s playoffs. <\/p>\n
Coach Claude Julien has his work cut out for him \u2013 there is absolutely no margin for error now!
\nTuukka Rask appears to be the only constant for the Boston Bruins. Although strong goaltending has carried the Montreal Canadiens so far this post season, the Habs are a team that gets timely goals and scores on every opportunity that they get. <\/p>\n
The Boston has been fine but has looked suspect only because there is a lack of offense to take the pressure off. <\/p>\n
History will be made on Friday night. Although the Boston Bruins have lost only once in the playoffs on home ice, at no time have they appeared as desperate as they do now. <\/p>\n
Philadelphia is rolling and with the confidence that they have it`s hard not to like them. <\/p>\n
