I think \u201cfun\u2019 is the best word.<\/p>\n NFL news: Lawrence Taylor charged with rape; Raiders release JaMarcus Russell<\/strong><\/p>\n We were well aware of his checkered past, which included everything from drug addiction to tax evasion. But Hall-of-Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor was supposed to be a poster boy for redemption. That\u2019s why it was especially disappointing to learn that he was arrested and charged with raping a 16-year-old girl yesterday.<\/p>\n Taylor allegedly used a middle man to force the girl to have sex with him and will next appear in court on the charges on June 10. Let the \u201cbiggest draft bust ever?\u201d questions begin. Even the crazy Oakland Raiders realized it was time to cut bait on JaMarcus Russell. On Thursday, they released the former No. 1 overall pick after he went 7-18 as a starter in the NFL.<\/p>\n Russell battled weight problems throughout his short (but rich) career and was eventually labelled as \u201clazy.\u201dBut is he really the biggest bust ever?<\/p>\n I\u2019d argue that many scouts saw Russell\u2019s demise coming a mile away. Ryan Leaf, on the other hand, was viewed as much more of a can\u2019t-miss guy. That\u2019s my two cents.<\/p>\n NBA news: D-Wade eying Pat Riley as his next coach?<\/strong><\/p>\n I can\u2019t imagine how crazy the 2010 offseason will be considering the rumors are already swirling out of control with the season still going.<\/p>\n The latest revolves around Dwyane Wade, who reportedly could be open to a coaching change in Miami that would put Pat Riley behind the bench.<\/p>\n He was non-committal when asked it about it this week, however, pointing out that he\u2019s won a title with Riley but also struggled through a 15-win season with Riley.<\/p>\n NHL news: Bruins lose Krejci for playoffs; Flyers may get Gagne back<\/strong><\/p>\n Maybe the tide is about to turn in the Bruins\/Flyers series? Boston has a 3-0 stranglehold, largely because the Flyers have battled so many injuries, but things are starting to balance out.
