On one hand they are still only three games in back of Denver and Utah for the lead in Northwest division, but they are currently sitting in the seventh spot for the playoffs tied with Portland, having to most likely face the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs should they fall to eighth. They have lost four out of their last seven games and are 6-4 in their last 10. <\/p>\n After an inspiring 91-75 romp over the Lakers on Saturday night they followed it up with an 87-92 loss to the Trail Blazers the next night. In the win over LA, they held Kobe Bryant to just 11 points and held the defending champs to their lowest point total of the season. Kevin Durant scored 26 points and Russell Westbrook scored 23. <\/p>\n In the loss to Portland, Durant had 29 points and 13 rebounds, but missed a chance to send the game into overtime as his three point attempt rimmed out in the closing seconds.<\/p>\n After losing eight out of their last nine, only scoring over 100 points once, the 76ers pulled off back to back upsets in their last two games. Last Wednesday on the road, they beat Milwaukee 101-86 and on Friday night they knocked off Atlanta 105-98. The key to this team having a chance to win this game is the ability to score 100 points or more. When they do that, Philly is 17-12 on the year. Unfortunately they score less than 100 much more frequently than scoring over 100. If they are going to have a chance to put some points on the board against the Thunder, they will have to rely on Andre Igoudala, who is averaging 17.1 points per game and Elton Brand, who is averaging 13.5. Rookie G Jrue Holiday has been stepping up lately, scoring 15 points in the win over the Bucks and 13 points against the Hawks. <\/p>\n With Lou Williams, their second leading scorer still expected to be out of the lineup with a back injury, look for Holiday to get more playing time in this game.<\/p>\n The Sixers have only won three games or more in a row once this season and that was way back in late January\/early February when Allen Iverson was still with the team. Oklahoma City can ill afford to lose this game as they need every win they can get down the stretch to improve their position in the postseason.
