Ashton Mitchell steers an attack led by Gilberto Clavell and Corey Allmond, but anyone can get in on the action as the Bearkats lead the nation in assists. <\/p>\n They\u2019re not a big team, and that will be definitely magnified against Baylor, but they get on the boards, coming in 39th in rebounding. But for all of their offense, it\u2019s defense that may advance the Bearkats in this 2010 March Madness bracket<\/a>. <\/p>\n Sam Houston State has given up 26.7 more points in their seven losses than they have in their 25 wins.<\/p>\n The Bears were knocked out of the Big 12 semifinals by Kansas State, but they were still rewarded with a solid seed. <\/p>\n LaceDarius Dunn and Tweety Carter are as solid a guard duo as you\u2019ll find in the country, although they sometimes struggle with turnovers. <\/p>\n But the trump card for the Bears is Ekpe Udoh, who has proved to be a capable offensive player to go along with his tremendous abilities on the defensive end of the court. Udoh is fifth in the nation in blocks, but he\u2019s scored at least 17 points in four of his last five games.<\/p>\n The Bears are favored by 11 points according to sportsbook odds (US sportsbook review<\/a>), and these two actually have played each other quite a few times, nine to be exact. The Bears have won six of those nine, but the Bearkats have won the last two, and the Bears will be wary of them. Their best chance lies with Udoh and the underrated Quincy Acy in the post, as the Bearkats don\u2019t have the size to compete with Baylor in the lane and on the glass. <\/p>\n But the Bearkats are a three-point shooting team anyway, so that will press Dunn and Carter into action on the defensive end. <\/p>\n The Bears usually play a zone, but that may play into the Bearkats\u2019 hands, so expect man defense from Baylor. This will be an exciting game, but Baylor\u2019s size will prove to be the key.
