Northwestern is hungry for revenge in this Big Ten Tourney matchup. The Hoosiers, just 10-20 on the season, surprised Northwestern 88-80 in overtime last week. How big of an upset was it? Well, it was Indiana\u2019s only win in its last 10 games. <\/p>\n

In terms of national rank, Northwestern isn\u2019t particularly dominant in any offensive or defensive category, but the Wildcats do shoot the ball fairly well (over 36 per cent as a team from three-point range) and have a go-to scorer in John Shurna. The Hoosiers have more balanced scoring, sporting three players averaging more than 12 points per game, but no equivalent to Shurna \u2013 especially with leading scorer Maurice Creek (knee) out for the season. <\/p>\n

After Indiana\u2019s upset win, some bettors are likely treading cautiously with this eight-point spread. Don\u2019t. The Hoosiers are 3-11 against the spread in their last 14 meetings with Northwestern and are 12-17-1 against the spread overall this season. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Expect emphatic revenge from Northwestern Thursday night. Even with the pseudo \u201chome court\u201d for the Hoosiers, with the game played at Conseco Fieldhouse, I think the better team will prevail. <\/p>\n
