They have still dominated everyone and everything in their path. A win against the worst team in the NBA should be all but a formality.<\/p>\n What\u2019s\u00a0 Happening With The Nets<\/strong><\/p>\n The Nets actually had a three-game road winning streak going, believe it or not. The Nets lost in Memphis in their most recent contest and cost the team their modest streak. For a team that\u2019s won only seven games this year, they will cling to anything.<\/p>\n The Nets are clearly not a very good team but they do have good, young talent. Devin Harris and Brook Lopez are the cornerstones while players Courtney Lee and Terrence Williams are steadily improving.<\/p>\n They still lack plenty of depth and another frontline scorer or two, but this isn\u2019t the worst team in NBA history.<\/p>\n What\u2019s\u00a0 Happening With The Mavericks<\/strong><\/p>\n The Dallas Mavericks are the hottest team in the NBA right now and they simply can\u2019t lose. While a good regular season stretch is impressive, most people want to know if this team has what it takes to knockoff the Los Angeles Lakers. The addition of Butler has provided a secondary scoring weapon while the addition of Haywood has provided a defensive presence in the middle of their defense. Also, the move has given the Mavericks plenty more depth.<\/p>\n The Mavs aren\u2019t healthy right now but they aren\u2019t having many problems winning.<\/p>\n Outlook & Pick<\/strong><\/p>\n The Mavs are without Jason Terry, who is out 10-14 days after facial surgery, Erick Dampier (finger), and possibly Brendan Haywood (back tightness) and J.J Barea (ankle) as well.<\/p>\n But even so, the Mavs are still rolling. With Dirk Nowitzki, Butler and Shawn Marion, the Mavs still have plenty of talent.
