There\u2019s plenty at stake tonight when William & Mary faces off against Old Dominion. First off, the winner takes the CAA Championship. Secondly, the winner earns an automatic bid into the NCAA Championship tournament.<\/p>\n

Sportsbooks favor Old Dominion by a fair margin and we can\u2019t blame them. The Monarchs Edged William & Mary on the road 58-55 in January and followed that up with a 61-42 trouncing at home last month.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re playing a money line, Old Dominion seems to be the superior team and makes a fine straight-up bet. But will the Monarchs beat the spread? They\u2019ve been just so-so in that regard this season but are 3-1 ATS over their last four games. Old Dominion doesn\u2019t score much \u2013 leading point-getter Gerald Lee averages just 14.8 per game \u2013 but it does play excellent defensive, ranking sixth in the nation in points allowed per game.<\/p>\n

That said, William & Mary feels dangerous against the spread tonight, having won three straight games and two on the road.<\/p>\n

The Tribe were 11-6 against the spread on the road this season and play reasonable \u201cD\u201d as well.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Bettors are piling on William & Mary for the spread and I suggest you follow the trend, as Old Dominion usually doesn\u2019t score enough to win big.<\/p>\n
