The Cleveland Browns (0-3 SU, 1-2 ATS, 1-2 O\/U) and Cincinnati Bengals (0-3 SU, 1-2 ATS, 1-2 O\/U), can both kiss their postseason hopes goodbye BetUS NFL wagering fanatics! <\/p>\n
That\u2019s right, you heard it here first. Both teams have already shot their postseason hopes down like a wounded duck after dropping each of their first three games.<\/p>\n
Now, the teams will meet with each club looking for their first win of the season.<\/p>\n
The Bengals didn\u2019t look too bad in losing to the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants, 26-23 in overtime while the Browns looked pitiful in losing to the Baltimore Ravens in two games that I both predicted correctly in the BetUS Locker Room last week.<\/p>\n
Cincinnati rolled up 347 yards of total offense to finally get their usually prolific offense untracked.<\/p>\n
“A lot of positives,” receiver Chad Ocho Cinco said. “A lot of good things. A couple of missed assignments across the board – you know, it was always one thing on every play, which it usually is when plays break down. But we had a lot of positives, man. We looked really good on film.”<\/p>\n
The Browns, on the other hand, have the NFL’s worst offense, (207.3 yards per game), and are one more interception away from benching quarterback Derek Anderson who has floundered badly after making the Pro Bowl in a breakout season last year.<\/p>\n
“We have to look at all of the positions,” Browns head coach Romeo Crennel said. “We’ll definitely try to get the other guy ready, (Brady Quinn) and get him ready to go and we’ll see how it progresses from there.”<\/p>\n
Crennel did make a valid point by saying that Quinn is still unproven in the NFL.<\/p>\n
“If we decided to go with (Quinn),” Crennel said, “we’d just have to put it on the fact that what we’ve seen in practice and what we feel he’s able to do because there’s no hard evidence that says he’d have more success.”<\/p>\n
Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer went 27-for-39 for 286 yards and a touchdown to T.J. Houshmandzadeh against the Giants.<\/p>\n
