The thumb injury that Paul Pierce suffered in the Celtics\u2019 win over the Lakers in Los Angeles last week has made him a game-time decision for tonight, and Boston coach Doc Rivers usually errs on the side of caution. Chasing LeBron James around for 35 minutes isn\u2019t likely to help Pierce, especially since Pierce also reported flu-like symptoms.<\/p>\n
Losses to Denver, Charlotte and Orlando got everyone thinking that Boston, Orlando or Atlanta might give the Cavs a run for the best record in the East, but that ain\u2019t gonna happen, and Cleveland\u2019s only real battle for the best record in the league (and home-court edge in every playoff series) is coming from the Lakers.<\/p>\n
Antawn Jamison seems to have found his sea legs in Cleveland after that miserable first game \u2013 he\u2019s has 19 and 18 in subsequent games and has given the Cavs more size and quickness.<\/p>\n
