They have to decide on the fate of a slough of their veteran players who have been simply awful in this tournament. Martin Brodeur could be benched in favor of Roberto Luongo while Scott Neidermayer and Chris Pronger could see their playing times reduced because of mistakes and overall sloppy play that cost Canada dearly on Super Sunday. This team has to find a formula for success \u2013 fast!!<\/p>\n There are those in Canada that have argued that being relegated to a qualification game is not such a bad thing. It will after all, give the Canadians another tune up game in their drive toward Gold on their home soil. They should have an easy time against the Germans \u2013 if they don\u2019t, Canada does not deserve a medal. Team Germany is the type of team that gives a team like Canada fits. Their defensive style has traditionally been tough for the uber-talented Canadians to handle. With a serious lack of firepower, the Germans will have to play this style flawlessly and hope that Goaltender Thomas Greiss has the game of his life. I don\u2019t see it happening however, Team Canada is just too strong.<\/p>\n Tuesday\u2019s playoff qualifying game has an unlikely but deserved participant in Team Canada.
