Matt Howard, reigning conference player of the year, scored 17 points and Ronald Nored added a career-high 16 points in the win. Howard is the Dogs third leading scorer, netting 11.8 ppg. Butler held the Flames to a mere 31.4 percent shooting from the field\u2014a season-best for the Bulldogs. Gordon Hayward continues to lead Butler in scoring with 16.0 ppg, while pulling down 8.3 rpg.
