Is the horror finally over for Boston? The Bruins snapped a 10-game losing streak on Sunday with a victory over Montreal on the road. Now, they hope to turn over a new leaf and climb back into the Eastern Conference playoff hunt. They\u2019ve picked a decent time to visit Buffalo as the Sabres are sagging, having lost four straight.<\/p>\n

If there\u2019s any doubt that Ryan Miller was carrying the Sabres all season, it\u2019s erased now; Miller\u2019s play has faltered in February, as he has an ugly 4.07 goals against average and .874 save percentage.\"Sports Instead of picking up the slack for Miller, the whole team has collapsed during his slump. Thomas Vanek has awakened from his slumber and Tim Connolly is dynamite when healthy but that\u2019s not enough; Buffalo needs more from Derek Roy (one goal in 12 games) and Jason Pominville (one goal in seven games).<\/p>\n

The Bruins are offensively challenged but so are the Sabres. I could see Zdeno Chara getting physical and bullying the smallish Sabre forwards tonight. Tuukka Rask is fresh off a shutout and the proud Tim Thomas probably wants to quell trade rumors, so Boston is in good hands no matter who starts. Go for the upset tonight.<\/p>\n
