Matchup history: <\/strong> Cornell 85 – Brown 45 (Cornell ATS win -8)<\/p>\nThis game may not even be on TV anywhere but I think it merits attention when an Ivy League team crashes the top 25.\u00a0 Cornell has three losses on the year all to power conference teams and they put the kind of scare into Kansas that will have tournament teams on their toes.\u00a0 An interesting note to this game is that both teams will be in the second game of a back to back, a rarity in the college game.\u00a0 Is that enough for a mediocre Brown team to pull off the upset…<\/p>\n
Doubdtful…this is a second tier Ivy squad that gets little production from its backcourt.\u00a0 Hardly a formula for knocking off one of the best Ivy League teams in a while.\u00a0 This team will not be intimidated by the Big Red’s size as they have an amazing 6 players 6’8″ or taller.\u00a0 They may not all be quality bigs but forward Matt Mullery is among league leaders in scoring and rebounding.

\nCornell…Really?…Really!!\u00a0 This team can shoot no matter who they are playing.\u00a0 They are fourth in the nation in three point shooting and can bury opponents quickly with quick spurts.\u00a0 They are led by Ryan Wittman and Jeff Foote.\u00a0 Wittman has been a scorer ever since he set foot on campus and Foote is the rare 5-man, Brown has some size but no one who can go toe to toe with the 7 foot 265 pound beast.\u00a0 Against Kansas he matched up with preseason All America Cole Aldrich more than held his own being outscored barely 13-12.\u00a0 The Big Red just have a lot more talent than the conference this year.\u00a0 They have won every league game by 21 points which is where this one is likely to finish<\/p>\n
