Then again, Alex Auld has started four of the last six games in his stead and may get the call again tonight. <\/p>\n The Stars\u2019 offense is quietly humming along, largely thanks to Brad Richards\u2019 continued excellence and Loui Eriksson, who is quietly ahead of last season\u2019s point-scoring pace. Even for a tough opponent like Colorado, Dallas is a challenging opponent in its own building; the Stars are 12-2-2 in their last 16 home games (and 1-9-2 in their last 12 road games). Before Josh Harding and the Minnesota Wild shut them out last night, the Avs were flying high, riding a six-game winning streak and allowing two goals in a four-game stretch. So was last night the start of a slump or a blip on the radar? <\/p>\n I doubt the speedy, energetic Avs begin a lengthy slump but I do see a loss in their future tonight.
