Team records:<\/strong> While the Mavericks have won four of their last five games, the Suns are in a serious funk and have lost seven of their last nine games. There have even been rumors swirling that the Suns are getting set to trade away Amare Stoudemire to get what they can and rebuild.<\/p>\n It\u2019s only speculation but the reality is that the Suns are still in the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference and are still just two games out of the No. 5 spot. Sure, they have struggled recently but they are back at home where they typically play fairly well. The Suns are 17-6 at home and are just 9-15 on the road, which is where their recent struggles have come.<\/p>\n The Suns are coming off a loss but it was in the back end of a back-to-back situation, which is the seventh time they\u2019ve done that in their last 10 tries. Now that they have had some time recuperate, they\u2019ll be ready to put on a big smile and pretend that everything is alright in front of a national audience.<\/p>\n The numbers are not pretty for Phoenix. Stoudemire is struggling amid the trade talks, they are 12-18 since starting the season 14-3 and they are just 7-7 in their last 14 home games.<\/p>\n But the cameras have a way of bringing out the best and while the Suns will continue their nosedive, they\u2019ll play well on Thursday and get the win.<\/p>\n
