How are the Flames not bigger underdogs tonight? They\u2019ve been positively atrocious this month, losing nine of their last 10. They absolutely can\u2019t buy a goal. Captain Jarome Iginla, the heart and soul of the franchise, hasn\u2019t scored a goal in 11 games. With Iginla that cold and very little support from usually solid contributors like Dion Phaneuf, Jay Bouwmeester and Nigel Dawes, it\u2019s no wonder the Flames aren\u2019t winning right now. It doesn\u2019t matter how good Miikka Kiprusoff is in net if he gets no offensive support.
\n\"Sports
\nIf nothing else, the Stars have been consistently mediocre this season, seemingly always in every game. It\u2019s no wonder they\u2019ve lost 11 games in overtime. Their underrated offense has remained a constant this season, with Brad Richards still quietly racking up points and Loui Eriksson showing his breakout 2008-09 campaign was no fluke. <\/p>\n

One problem for the Stars, however, has been yet another second-half swoon for Marty Turco, who seems to tank every year around this time. The aging puckstopper is 2-6-0 with a 3.61 goals against average and .884 save percentage this month. Could his poor play present a chink in the armor for Calgary to exploit tonight, assuming Turco plays? I think so. <\/p>\n

The Flames simply aren\u2019t this bad and they\u2019ve won four of their last five trips to Dallas. Take a flier. <\/p>\n

Too bad they don\u2019t offer better value, though. <\/p>\n
