On the other hand, after coach John Tortorella flew off the handle last week, we should in theory see an improved effort from the Broadway Blueshirts tonight.<\/p>\n

The Pens haven\u2019t been perfect this season by any means but they\u2019ve shown signs of finding a groove. \"SportsSidney Crosby has arguably never played better and is on pace to shatter his career high in goals. Particularly encouraging is the play of Evgeni Malkin, who has eight points over his last four games and seems to have broken his long slump.<\/p>\n

Though the Rangers won\u2019t make it easy tonight, they lack toughness at times and the Pens, who have an agitating group of forwards including Matt Cooke and Bill Guerin, could push the Rangers around in their own building. At 12-11-4 at Madison Square Garden, the Rangers are one of the few NHL teams with more home losses than wins.<\/p>\n
