Finally, though, New York has responded. The Broadway Blueshirts have exploded for 14 goals in two games so far this week (both victories, needless to say). A big reason for the newfound success is secondary scoring, as Ryan Callahan and Brandon Dubinsky have combined for 10 points this week. Usual goal scorer Marian Gaborik even had four assists the other night. <\/p>\n

In Philadelphia, the Peter Laviolette experiment is finally working. Now that he\u2019s whipped the group of talented power forwards into shape (literally \u2013 conditioning is a major part of his regime), they\u2019ve won nine of 11. \"SportsIf only they could bury their locker room turmoil, particularly with captain Mike Richards, once in for all, they\u2019d be well on their way. Still, it won\u2019t be hard for Philly to get up for a divisional battle tonight.
\nTonight could really go either way but the Flyers have won four straight games at home. The Rangers are hot but they\u2019re just not that good offensively; the outburst earlier this week was likely an anomaly. Expect a spirited affair and a close win for Philly. <\/p>\n
