Time<\/strong>: Sunday, January 10th \u2013 Arizona \u2013 4:30 PM ET People in Arizona are wondering how the Cardinals played key players in a game they decided to lay down.<\/p>\n When you do the math, the injury to Boldin, who likely won\u2019t be able to play, the injury to Rodgers-Cromartie, who will play and be limited, along with the injury to left tackle Mike Gandy (out), the Cardinals will not be at full strength.<\/p>\n On top of that, they are facing a very hot team for a second straight week. We\u2019ll see just how much experience and home field advantage factor.<\/p>\n Packers offense versus Cardinals defense<\/strong><\/p>\n The Cardinals defense came out of nowhere to tear it up in the postseason last year and they\u2019ll have to do the same on Sunday if they plan to advance.<\/p>\n The Packers have been on fire in the second half of the year and as the offensive line has improved and Ryan Grant has found space, their offense has been quite versatile. Throw in a passing game that features four or five good weapons and the Cardinals and their limited secondary might be in trouble.<\/p>\n The only way Green Bay doesn\u2019t score in this game is if they turn over the ball regularly. That would be a venture away from the norm for them considering they had the best turnover ratio in the NFL this year. Cardinals offense versus Packers defense<\/strong><\/p>\n It sure would be nice to have a running game to lean on, especially when one of your best passing weapons may be out this week.<\/p>\n The Cardinals are 5-1 in the last two seasons without Boldin, so they won\u2019t stress whether he plays or not. At the same time, he\u2019s a big weapon and they\u2019d rather have him in the lineup.<\/p>\n Without Boldin, the Packers will be able to shift extra attention to Larry Fitzgerald and let the Cardinals find other options. Leaning on the running game would be a great idea but the Packers have the best run defense in the NFL.<\/p>\n Outlook & Pick<\/strong><\/p>\n The Packers have won seven of their last eight games and their only loss was a last-second miracle in Pittsburgh. Other than that, the Packers have been unstoppable.<\/p>\n The offensive line isn\u2019t giving up as many sacks and the defense is getting better by the week. That defense finished third in the NFL overall and led the league in interceptions.<\/p>\n Sure, the Cardinals have experience and home field advantage, but the Packers win in Arizona last week will give them the confidence they need to succeed once again. Look for a closer game but the same result.<\/p>\n
