None of the Rebels\u2019 starters is shooting 50 percent, and their 3-point shooting (30.1 percent) has been awful.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, BYU extended their winning streak to nine with a 95-49 thrashing of Division II Eastern New Mexico on Saturday night. Michael Loyd Jr. came off the bench and scored 17 points to lead the Cougars in the win. <\/p>\n The Cougars have the most potent offense in the Mountain West Conference and enter the week leading the league in every major offensive category. BYU star Jimmer Fredette leads the conference in scoring with an average of 21.6 points per game. But one place the Cougars fall short is on the boards as just one player is averaging five rebounds per game. The Cougars has scored 88 or more points in each of its last five games coming into Wednesday\u2019s match up. <\/p>\n UNLV will need to continue to play steady defense and taken good care of the basketball to make up for their lack of scoring.
