He almost gave away a goal when he misplayed the puck horribly and Christopher Higgins later beat him from an impossible angle to score the game winner for the Rangers. After Rask\u2019s off night, we can expect to see Tim Thomas in goal for Boston tonight in Ottawa. It\u2019s been a lovely week for Thomas, who was named the first star in the Winter Classic and also made USA\u2019s Olympic team. The numbers favor him heavily against the Sens tonight. He shut them out the last time he faced them (also in Ottawa) and has been outstanding of late, allowing two or fewer goals four times in his last five starts. More importantly, he dominates the Sens historically, sporting a 15-5-2 record, 2.06 goals against average, .934 save percentage and four shutouts. Wow. <\/p>\n Even though Patrice Bergeron didn\u2019t make the trip to Ottawa after taking a shot off the hand last night, Boston could score enough to win; based on Thomas\u2019 track record, they only need a goal. There\u2019s nothing wrong with Ottawa\u2019s play right now; the Sens have won three of four during their current homestand. But bettors should ride the Thomas factor to a minor upset.
