College Football Expert Picks Week 9<\/h2>\n

Let’s just say last week didn’t offer the most exciting games.<\/p>\n

There were a few close games of course, but the only game between my top ranked teams turned out to be a blowout when TCU beat BYU 38-7.<\/p>\n

This week could be the complete opposite. Two games this Saturday are going to be MUST watch games and will have BCS implications: USC at Oregon in the Pac-10 and Texas at Oklahoma State in a game that could settle the Big 12 South.<\/p>\n

There’s one major rivalry game as Florida takes on Georgia, a showdown between coaches who open their mouths more than they should as South Carolina visits Tennessee and a potential game that will define the future of their football programs with Central Michigan visiting Boston College.<\/p>\n

College Football Picks for week 9.<\/h3>\n

Georgia at (1) Florida at 3:30 PM ET, Municipal Stadium<\/strong><\/p>\n

Georgia Bulldog +15
\nFlorida Gators -15<\/p>\n

Despite the lack of really good wide receivers, Tebow will find the way to take advantage of Georgia’s awful pass defense. Tebow is showing signs of frustration as the Gator offense has struggled thru each of their wins.<\/p>\n

My pick:<\/strong> Gators will cover the spread.<\/p>\n

(3) Texas at (14) Oklahoma State<\/strong><\/p>\n

Texas Longhorns -8
\nOklahoma State Cowboys +8<\/p>\n

Colt McCoy is coming off his best performance of the season and their offense is one of the most explosives in the country. \"\"<\/a>Cowboys pass defense is mediocre and will have a lot of trouble handling the Texas receivers<\/p>\n

My pick:<\/strong> Texas won\u2019t cover the spread.<\/p>\n

(5) USC at (10) Oregon at 8 PM ET, Autzen Stadium<\/strong><\/p>\n

USC Trojans -3
\nOregon Ducks +3<\/p>\n

Betting on home underdogs always pay off in college football. USC QB Matt Barkley had played really well in the road however Oregon has a good solid defense that could bring him some trouble. Expect a great football matchup in our BetUS.com Game of the Week.<\/p>\n

My pick:<\/strong> Upset by the Ducks.<\/p>\n

(8) Cincinnati at Syracuse at 12:00 PM ET, Carrier Dome.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cincinnati Bearcats -14
\nSyracuse Orange +14<\/p>\n

The Bearcats are one of the most fun teams to watch in the nation, with or without QB Tony Pike they will put some big numbers on offense. Expect a blowout.<\/p>\n

My pick:<\/strong> Bearcats will cover the spread and then some.<\/p>\n

New Mexico State at (17) Ohio State at 12:00 PM ET, Ohio Stadium<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Mexico State Aggies +44
\nOhio State Buckeyes -44<\/p>\n

Ohio State will not have trouble winning this one however Terrelle Pryor is a mess and will not put huge numbers against the Aggies.<\/p>\n

My pick: Buckeyes will not cover the spread.<\/p>\n

Indiana at (4) Iowa at 12:00 PM ET, Kinnick Stadium<\/strong><\/p>\n

Indiana Hoosiers +17
\nIowa Hawkeyes -17<\/p>\n

QB Ricky Stanzi won the game for the Hawkeyes last week but it still the offense is not as good as it should be.<\/p>\n

My pick:<\/strong> Iowa won\u2019t cover the spread.<\/p>\n

(19) Miami (FL) at Wake Forest at 3:30 PM ET, GROVES STADIUM.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Miami Florida Hurricanes -7
\nWake Forest Demon Deacons +7<\/p>\n

Jacory Harris always bounces back after bad games. Expect the Hurricanes to roll over a Demon Deacons team who don\u2019t really have an identity.<\/p>\n

My pick:<\/strong> the Hurricanes will cover the spread.<\/p>\n

(25) Mississippi at Auburn at 12:30 PM ET, Jordan-Hare Stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mississippi Rebels -3
\nAuburn Tigers +3<\/p>\n

Auburn is a hard team to beat anywhere but this is more evident at home, they are a power running team. Their defense will have to step up to stop Jevan Snead and his offense.<\/p>\n

My pick:<\/strong> Upset by the Tigers.<\/p>\n

24) California at Arizona State at 3:30 PM ET, Sun Devil Stadium<\/strong><\/p>\n

California Golden Bears -6
\nArizona State Sun Devils +6<\/p>\n

Cal\u2019s offense will be the difference in this one. Bears QB Kevin Riley is better head to head than Devils QB Danny Sullivan and has more weapons to exploit.<\/p>\n

My pick:<\/strong> Cal will cover the spread.<\/p>\n
