OK, NFL betting fans. It\u2019s time to get serious. We\u2019ve continued to sizzle in our weekly parlay but our winnings feel criminal; too many slam-dunk picks on favorites, right? If we really want a heist worthy of an organized crime ring, we need to start taking risks. Thus, without further ado, I present to you an all-underdog parlay for Week 7, with spreads from BetOnline.com.<\/p>\n
BEARS (+1) over BENGALS <\/strong><\/p>\n We start the parlay with a minor upset pick. What to make of Cincinnati? After its disappointing loss to Houston last week, will we see the Cardiac Cats? Or are the Bungles back? I lean toward the latter. After losing Antwan Odom \u2013 who has half their sacks \u2013 to a season-ending Achilles injury, the Bengal pass rush won\u2019t do anything. That means Jay Cutler and the Bears can go vertical. The story of the day will be Cedric Benson battling his old team (and hated rival). I like the Bears\u2019 solid run defense to get the better of him and force Carson Palmer to have a big day. Palmer hasn\u2019t flourished despite being sacked just twice in his last two games so he may not do much against the Bears.<\/p>\n FALCONS (+4) over COWBOYS <\/strong><\/p>\n Is there a hollower 3-2 team than the Cowboys this season? America\u2019s Team beat Tampa, Carolina and Kansas City. Big deal. The important takeaway from those games is that the Cowboys still rank in the NFL\u2019s bottom half in virtually every major defensive category despite those cupcake matchups. Dallas is especially bad against the pass and has a paltry 10 sacks in five games after leading the NFL in that regard last season. DOLPHINS (+6) over SAINTS <\/strong><\/p>\n Do not adjust your computer monitor. This is not a misprint. The Saints may be the best team in the NFL, but it seems excited bettors were saying the same thing about the New York Jets two weeks ago. Then, on Monday Night Football, the Dolphins totally picked the Jets apart. Everyone expected Rex Ryan\u2019s vicious blitzing to overwhelm Chad Henne, but the Dolphins kept New York guessing with the wildcat offense. Henne showcased his cannon arm and the Ronnie Brown\/Ricky Williams tandem ran wild. We know the Saints will pass on the Dolphins but I\u2019m not convinced they\u2019ll do anything else well. Miami has the NFL\u2019s No. 3 run defense. As much as everyone\u2019s excited about New Orleans\u2019 improved pass rush, no team blitzes like a Rex Ryan team, so the Dolphins can handle whatever the Saints throw at them. Even if the Fish don\u2019t win, they\u2019ll cover the BetOnline.com spread. I like the Falcons\u2019 odds as much as I like the World Series odds of record-breaking offense next week.<\/p>\n
