The No. 5 ranked Boise State Broncos will gallop into Chapman Stadium to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The two teams have not met since 2004, when Tulsa played with Boise State in the Western Athletic Conference before moving to Conference USA in 2005. The Golden Hurricanes is 0-4 all-time against the Broncos, losing 45-42 at home on October 16, 2004.<\/p>\n

Boise State has won five straight games, and is currently 1-0 in conference play. Their most recent win coming against UC Davis, 34-16 in Week 5. They will need to do a better job finishing drives if they want to beat tougher Tulsa team on the road. The Broncos have scored touchdowns on just 16 of 27 red-zone trips, a problem that tormented them in their last outing against UC Davis.<\/p>\n

Defensively the Broncos have been inconsistent, starting good — the Broncos haven\u2019t allowed a first-quarter point all year, and then breaking down mid-game.<\/p>\n

Tulsa has led the nation in total offense the past two years and their defense hasn\u2019t allowed a rushing touchdown this season and has registered 19 sacks from nine different players.<\/p>\n

This might, in fact, be the Broncos\u2019 toughest contest remaining in on their 2009 schedule.<\/p>\n
