The weird part is that even the women in St. Louis are trying to do the same, which is how bad things have gotten in St. Louis. Nobody knows what the hell is happening, and now they’ve lost their perennial leader in Marc Bulger to another injury and will have to watch Kyle Boller try to lead this team against a Niners team which was one Brett Favre miracle away from going undefeated to open the 2009 betting season.

CLICK HERE FOR THE BEST NFL CAPPERS PICKS FOR ALL THE WEEK 4 ACTION?? —–>

The Rams are 2-4 ATS on the road, and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games when playing San Francisco. [soliloquy id=”82219″] We really haven’t seen Boller play since the 2007 NFL season in Baltimore , where he totaled 1,743 yards, 9 scores and 10 picks with a 75.2 quarterback rating. It’s easy to say that he’s terrible, but he was also playing with expectations in Baltimore. Nobody is expecting him to win in St. Louis. But I’m expecting him to cover.

St. Louis Rams (0-3) vs. San Francisco 49ers (2-1)
Sunday, October 4th — Candlestick Park, San Francisco — 4:15pm EST
NFL Betting Line: San Francisco -9.5 (37)

The Niners are getting their just due after holding it down against Minnesota. But save for a botched field-goal attempt by Minnesota, which Nate Clements turned in to a special teams score, the Niners were seriously outplayed last weekend. To make matters even worse for San Fran, they’ll be without gamebreaker Frank Gore who will be replaced with Glen “Get Me Some!” Coffee.

The Rams rush defense allows 148.0 yards per game, and their pass defense allows 255.3 yards through the air. They’re ranked 29th overall in defense and also give up 24.3 points per game. But that’s a huge spread for San Francisco to cover, and they’ve enjoyed a balanced attack with Frank Gore.

San Fran will be able to contain Stephen Jackson after they averaged just 66.7 yards on the ground against in the first three weeks. But Kyle Boller has a nasty habit of being a pick machine in the process of amassing some heavy duty yards. The miracle by Brett Favre was a bad omen for the Niners, and I think they get their first spread loss against Boller and the Rams. The Niners will be one-dimensional. Glen Coffee is not a star in this league, and is a pretty weak replacement for Gore.

NFL Free Pick: St. Louis +9.5 (UNDER)

NFL BETTING SEASON PROMO FROM BETUS: A 100% match play bonus for 1st Time players Up To $500.
