We’re pretty convinced that the Huskers, under the hard-charging Pellini’s tutelage, can hold their own against VT’s infantry, and this may be a time for them to turn Roy Helu Jr. (seven yards a carry) loose to see what he can do.<\/p>\n No, Nebraska hasn’t proven very much yet this year against standup foes, but Pellini has engineered a nice turnaround in Lincoln, with six straight wins going back to last year, including wins over Kansas and Clemson. One of the low moments was a 35-30 home loss to the Hokies, where Taylor was allowed to scamper around a bit and Nebraska was held to 55 net rushing yards. I am expecting Pellini to make adjustments in his defense, and for Taylor to have to win this game with his arm. Can he? Don’t know, but it’s the wiser play to grab points with the emerging Big 12 squad.
