Last season\u2019s Texas Tech victory marked the sixth time in the L\/7 meetings between these teams that has surpassed the closing \u2018total\u2019. The winning team has scored at least 35 points in every meeting since 2001, and Texas had covered three of the previous four meetings between these squads before losing last season.
