2008 Record: 13-3 The Tennessee Titans will have a tough time building on their 13-3 season last year, even though the expectations will be high.<\/p>\n On offense, again the team will ride Kerry Collins as far as he can go but the reality of the situation is that he has a very low ceiling. When it comes to beating the good teams in the NFL, he\u2019s no longer adept at doing it so the Titans will hit a wall at one point or another.<\/p>\n The wide receiving corps has improved marginally as the team spent a first-round pick on Kenny Britt and signed Nate Washington in free agency. Even so, a crop featuring those two and holdover Justin Gage doesn\u2019t exactly give defensive coordinators nightmares.<\/p>\n The offense will again be built around a potent running game and with Pro Bowler Chris Johnson in his second season and LenDale White trimming off some weight, the tandem should be strong again. With two All-Pros on the offensive line (Michael Roos and Kevin Mawae), this will be one of the best rushing teams in the NFL.<\/p>\n On defense, the Titans will miss Albert Haynesworth, who was an MVP-like performer last year. It\u2019s not that the Titans don\u2019t have replacements, it\u2019s just that none of them are that good. Losing such a disruptive force will effective the entire unit.<\/p>\n With two Pro Bowlers in the secondary and Keith Bulluck at middle linebacker, don\u2019t expect this defense to slide very far down the rankings. But even so, losing Haynesworth means this unit is worse \u2013 even if just by a little.<\/p>\n Since the Titans couldn\u2019t get it done last year, it\u2019s hard to fathom them going further this year since they haven\u2019t got significantly better.
