2008 Record: 12-4 Could the Pittsburgh Steelers be better than they were last year? That\u2019s a tough bar to jump over for the Super Bowl Champs, but it\u2019s hard to imagine them not contending the difficulty of their schedule last season.<\/p>\n Considering how this team came off of their last Super Bowl win \u2013 when head coach Bill Cowher moved on, franchise face Jerome Bettis retired, Ben Roethlisberger crashed a motorcycle and Santonio Holmes wasn\u2019t arrested \u2013 it has been a very quiet offseason.<\/p>\n The offense returns virtually intact and adds Rashard Mendenhall, who played only four games as a rookie last year. Four of the five offensive linemen were in their first seasons at their positions last year so they figure to be stronger with a year\u2019s worth of experience.<\/p>\n On defense, it\u2019s hard to find any holes. The Steelers linebacking corps is the best in the business while the defensive line is up there too.<\/p>\n The secondary would be the lone weak spot but considering how much pressure they generate up front, not many quarterbacks have enough time to expose this group. Also, while they might be weak in coverage, they are among the best in run support.<\/p>\n Unlike many Super Bowl champions in the salary cap era, the Steelers haven\u2019t had many free agent or coaching losses.
