NFL Week 1 Fantasy Football Tips<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This is our waiver wire pick-ups column. The staff will scour the free agent pools in fantasy land for the best available talent every week. Availability, of course, depends on the league. We\u2019re using 12 team, 15 roster spot leagues as the median, but we\u2019ll look for roster candidates for leagues of all shapes and sizes. Grab the following before NFL Week 2. <\/p>\n

Without wasting any more of your time, here is the Week 2 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickup List, for the NFL games going on this week (Week 2). Good Luck!!!<\/p>\n

QUARTERBACKS<\/h2>\n

1. Matt Cassel, Patriots
\nCassel is the top recommended QB this week<\/p>\n

2. Jeff Garcia, Buccaneers
\nSteady QB who\u2019s worth a look in larger leagues.<\/p>\n

3. Matt Ryan, Falcons
\nGood sleeper pickup in deep leagues.<\/p>\n

RUNNING BACKS<\/h2>\n

1. Sammy Morris, Patriots
\nMorris could be a serviceable 2nd running back and should be owned in all leagues<\/p>\n

2. Jerious Norwood, Falcons
\nNorwood should be owned in all leagues.<\/p>\n

3. Steve Slaton, Texans
\nNow is the time to acquire hi as he got the bulk of the carries in Week 1.<\/p>\n

4. Pierre Thomas, Saints
\nThomas might get the goal-line carries over Bush. If Thomas holds onto that role, he could be huge, Grab him and stash him on your bench.<\/p>\n

5. Derrick Ward, Giants
\nWeek 2 the Giants draw the Rams, Ward could be used if you need a 2nd RB.<\/p>\n

WIDE RECEIVERS<\/h2>\n

1. DeSean Jackson, Eagles
\nJackson should be owned in all leagues as he’ll put up good numbers week in and week out.<\/p>\n

2. Eddie Royal, Broncos
\nWith Marshall and Royal, Denver could have a receiving tandem that ranks among the NFL\u2019s best for years to come.<\/p>\n

3. Kevin Walter, Texans
\nIn week 1 Walter caught three passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. Makes a nice spot starter.<\/p>\n

4. Muhsin Muhammad, Panthers
\nWith Smith coming back in Week 3 things will get easier for Muhammad, Delhomme still really trusts him too. He is worth a roster spot in large leagues.<\/p>\n

5. Antwaan Randle El, Redskins
\nLed all Washington receivers with seven receptions for 73 yards.<\/p>\n

TIGHT ENDS<\/h2>\n

1. Dante Rosario, Panthers
\nRosario looked really reliable and Delhomme seems to like him a lot. Great catch to win versus the Chargers too. He’s worth a look.<\/p>\n

2. L.J. Smith, Eagles
\nSmith caught five of those passes for 39 yards and a touchdown but was thrown to a lot more. Their connection could resurface this year.<\/p>\n

3. John Carlson, Seahawks
\nWho else does Matt Hasselbeck have to throw too Billy McMullen? Cmon!<\/p>\n

D\/ST<\/h2>\n

1. Tennessee Titans
\nGood sleeper defense for owners as a bye week fill in. You could do a whole lot worse (Raiders)<\/p>\n

2. Arizona Cardinals
