Predicting what will be Games of the Year is tough, just ask the Monday Night Football crew. A game featuring two teams that might’ve been a marquee matchup last year could be completely meaningless a year later-for all we know, the Detroit Lions could be the 2009 NFC Central regular season champions a year removed from going 0-16…ok, that’s crazy talk but you get the point.<\/p>\n

The Giants are listed as a +2.5 underdog.<\/p>\n In Dallas’ last 20 home games against the New York Giants, they are 12-7-1 against the spread, but this will be their first regular season game in their new billion-dollar stadium.<\/p>\n The Giants have been marginally successful the first month of the regular season going 11-9 ATS in their last 20 September games, but more recently are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five games in September.<\/p>\n The Cowboys seem to get off to better starts going 15-5 SU and 13-7 ATS in their last 20 games during September.<\/p>\n Rumors continue to circulate about Brett Favre landing in Minnesota to play for the Vikings.<\/p>\n Fuel was further added to the fire when ESPN reported that the Favre family was seeking accommodations in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area during the same weekend (November 1, 2009) as a Minnesota Vikings-Green Bay Packers game.<\/p>\n Is it just a coincidence? Would you spend a weekend in early-November in Wisconsin?
