These teams are going to be linked for a while since Seattle drubbed Denver in the Super Bowl. Not that that will have any relevance in this one.<\/p>\n

Denver<\/h3>\n

The Broncos are heading into the season as the favourites in the AFC West. There is nothing new there but I don’t see this team as a legit title threat, they are the just the most consistent and deep of a lot of teams with questions, they have the fewest I suppose.<\/p>\n

The key to their season is preserving Peyton Manning for as long as possible so I don’t expect to see much of the future HOFer on Friday night, if at all.<\/p>\n

We might not even see that much of Brock Osweiler, and he is so big that he is hard to miss out there. I think the key for Denver this preseason is getting comfortable with their offensive line. Protection and establishing balance by running the ball are key this season.<\/p>\n

Denver is a tough team to handicap in the preseason. They are a veteran group that is just trying to stay sharp, not a lot of job openings as far as I can tell.<\/p>\n

Seattle<\/h3>\n

The Seahawks were this close to repeating as champs last season. <\/p>\n

Usually there is a bit of hangover for the losers of the Big Game but I am just as optimistic as Pete Carroll that this talented group can return to the postseason and go on another run.<\/p>\n

I am sure he would like to play the whole game but now that he is inked up to an expensive extension don’t expect to see too much of Russell Wilson, or any of the other stars of the Seahawks this season. <\/p>\n

That means we will have to wait a little longer before we see how the addition of Jimmy Graham revolutionizes the offense.<\/p>\n

One story surrounding the club is the holdout of safety Kam Chancellor. He provides the Boom of the Legion of Boom and in my opinion they kind of need him to be who they want to be.<\/p>\n

This team is pretty established and there are few positions that are drawing much of my curiosity at the moment. If you are a Tarvaris Jackson fan you should definitely tune it.<\/p>\n
