So who is #1 overall? Let\u2019s take a look in Dave B\u2019s 2015 preseason Running Backs Top 10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Le&#8217;Veon Bell PIT<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Bell\u2019s suspension has many afraid to take Bell #1 overall \u2013 not me. Bell was by far the most productive player in Fantasy last year in the running and passing games. He rumbled for 4.7 yards per carry last year and was second among RBs in receptions as well (83). Bell is a monster \u2013 if you can find an OK replacement for the first two weeks of the Fantasy season Bell may carry or receive you to the promise land this year.<\/p>\n<p>[dfads params=&#8217;groups=63753&amp;limit=1&amp;return_javascript=0&#8242;]<\/p>\n<p>Simply put there is no greater threat from week-to-week than Bell. If he wasn\u2019t suspended there would be ZERO argument about the #1 overall draft this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Jamaal Charles KC<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Charles could have landed anywhere from #1-3 on this list but I have him #2. If not for an ankle injury in KC\u2019s second game Charles may have wound up first in Fantasy points last year. He\u2019s a legitimate home run hitter and despite all of the talk of limiting his touches this year can do more with those limited touches than almost everyone else on the board.<\/p>\n<p>Health is a slight issue but I\u2019m willing to gamble on one of the truest football players on the planet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Eddie Lacy GB<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Started very slowly last year for some reason but caught fire toward the end of the season and wound up sixth among RBs in Fantasy production. He is a three down back on one of the best offenses in the game and will definitely get his chances to score. Lacy could catch 50 balls this year, run for 1200 yards and score up to 15 TDs. He looks to be about as reliable as they come and a worthy top 3 overall pick.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Adrian Peterson MIN<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Those of you that took AP in the first round last year (me included) may have a little bitterness but don\u2019t. Peterson is rested, refreshed, and healthy and has a couple of added elements to his game \u2013 an enormous chip on his shoulder and a need to prove all of his haters wrong. Look \u2013 Peterson is still one of the freakiest athletes in the game today and armed with a new offensive coordinator that is certain to feature him will be great for his value. Keep in mind that he\u2019s also playing in an offense that has drastically improved since the last time he took the field. There is nothing to hate about this guy.<\/p>\n<p>AP has a chance to finish #1 in Fantasy production this year \u2013 no reason to overthink this one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Marshawn Lynch SEA<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Ya, ya \u2013 he\u2019s almost 30 years old. So what?! He has four consecutive seasons over 1200 yards and hasn\u2019t scored less than 12 times in any of those four seasons. His consistency is remarkable \u2013 his work load isn\u2019t going to be reduced! Lynch\u2019s recent inclusion in the passing game doesn\u2019t hurt his value either. He is as safe as they come and the ceiling is high for this guy.<\/p>\n<p>[dfads params=&#8217;groups=66479&amp;limit=1&amp;return_javascript=0&#8242;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Matt Forte CHI<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Extremely productive guy who has gone over 1000 yards in his last four seasons \u2013 he has caught at least 68 balls in each of his last three to add to his value \u2013 an insane 102 receptions last year for 808 yards and 4 TDs!!! Forte finished #4 among running backs in Fantasy last year.<\/p>\n<p>Forte will be productive again \u2013 the Bears absolutely need to rely on him to be successful. He\u2019s a three-down, dual threat back that will rarely leave the field \u2013 a good recipe for Fantasy success.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. C.J. Anderson DEN<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>New Coach Gary Kubiak has vowed to lean on the running game this year and I believe him. Kubiak is the guy that made Arian Foster and Justin Forsett stars for their respective clubs! Anderson was the best running back in terms of Fantasy the last five games of last season and has serious upside this year as well.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson has the benefit of a high-powered offense to take some of the heat off \u2013 he will score often and could be a top 3 Fantasy producer when all is said and done.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. DeMarco Murray PHI<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Reigning NFL rushing champion has a little competition for touches this year \u2013 otherwise he may be a top 5 pick. Ryan Matthews and Darren Sproles threaten to cut into Murray\u2019s touches for sure and his inclusion into Chip Kelly\u2019s offense is not without its question marks.<\/p>\n<p>Take Murray knowing he\u2019ll give you 1300 combined yards and hope that Ryan Matthews sustains one of his predictable injuries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. LeSean McCoy BUF<\/strong> &#8211; <\/p>\n<p>Life in Buffalo will certainly be different than in Phili! That said Buffalo is a run-first team that will definitely utilize McCoy in the running and passing game. McCoy could hit 1500 yards this year but in a low-powered offense may have a tough time reaching 10 TDs. <\/p>\n<p>[dfads params=&#8217;groups=63752&amp;limit=1&amp;return_javascript=0&#8242;]<\/p>\n<p>The talent is there but I\u2019m not sure the team is quite good enough to keep defense from stuffing the box against this guy. Still, McCoy is an elite talent that should produce top 10 Fantasy numbers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Jeremy Hill CIN<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Emerging star has a chance for 10-12 TDs this year although he may not see the field on third down. Hill has it all \u2013 elusiveness, power and speed to spare. He had 1,124 yards and 9 TDs last year with only 222 touches \u2013 5.1 yards per carry. The Cincinnati coaches are no dummies \u2013 don\u2019t be surprised to see Hill end the season with top 5 numbers.
