Mike Williams, who is far and away Syracuse’s top offensive weapon, left the program a couple of weeks ago. Williams had caught 49 passes on the year, and was averaging over 106 yards a catch, which ranks him eighth nationally among receivers. He had been suspended for the game against Akron and had just four catches for 34 yards against Cincinnati.
