The Jets got off to a hot start but are now victims of three straight losses. With the news that stalwart defensive tackle Kris Jenkins has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, the Jets have just lost the reason for their rushing defense. But that loss isn’t the biggest deal. The truth is that Dirty Sanchez is beginning to stink.
Mark Sanchez has an NFL arm. Anyone who has seen him throw a football more than once or twice is convinced of that.
Sanchez also has kahones. He proved that in his second game as a pro when he engineered second-half drives in a victory over the Patriots, and in the process outplayed Tom Brady.
In the only battle of undefeated teams on Sunday, the Saints will host the Jets led by Dirty Sanchez. The best offense in the league will face the against the true number-one defense. The Jets and Bart Scott have allowed just 256.0 yards against total, while keeping teams in check with just 11.0 points allowed. They’ve managed these stats while playing explosive Texans, New England and Tennessee.
