The Detroit Red Wings will look to hold serve in their home building on Tuesday night when the play host to the President’s Trophy winning Boston Bruins in Game 3 of their first round playoff series.
The Los Angeles Kings host the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night in Game 3 of their opening round playoff series. The series shifts to the Staples Center after the Sharks dominated on their home ice in the first two games of the series, winning Game 1 on Thursday by a 6-3 margin, then claiming Game 2 in the series on Sunday by a score of 7-2.

Wings Hope to Ride Wave Of Confidence to Game 3 Victory
To a man the Detroit Red Wings said they would be better in Game 2 of the Western Conference semi final after losing Game 1, 4-1 and they backed up their claim in a big way for Detroit’s first win against Chicago in nine tries – the Red Wings’ first in regulation since April 2011.
The Warriors have looked like the better team in this series and after they won Game 2 in San Antonio they now have the home court advantage. The Warriors are a team that is playing with a ton of confidence and their rotation creates major match up problems for San Antonio.
The New York Rangers return home Monday night with some work to do – down 2-0 to the Washington Capitals and struggling to find any sort of offense. The Rangers perhaps deserved a better fate in Game 2 but lost in overtime to put them in the 2-0 hole. A low scoring game is predicted once again – the teams scored a total of four goals in Game 1 and were held goal-less during regulation of Game 2.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have two games under their belts – playoff jitters are not an excuse anymore and if they improve in Game 3 like they for Game 2, Leafs fans could go home very, very happy Monday night.
Many thought this would be THE series that would go down to the wire and it looks that way. After winning the first 2 games in La La Land the Clippers took a 2-0 lead in the series before Memphis won the last 2 to tie it up.
