Philadelphia’s dream season as become more like a never-ending nightmare with each passing week. Last Sunday it blew its fifth fourth-quarter lead this year in a 21-17 loss to Arizona as a 13.5-point home favorite. The Eagles are now 3-6 straight-up and against the spread and three games behind the Giants in the division. The total has gone ‘over’ in five of its nine games this year.
Adding to the misery are serious health concerns for both Michael Vick and one of his favorite targets, Jeremy Maclin. Vick has already been downgraded to doubtful, so look for Vince Young to possibly make his first start as an Eagle.

The two injury concerns for the Giants are running back Ahmad Bradshaw and wide receiver Mario Manningham listed as questionable, but Eli Manning has already proven this season that he is more than capable of moving the offense down the field and putting points on the board with whoever is on the field.
The Eagles are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as underdogs and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The total has gone ‘over’ in nine of their last 10 games on the road.
The Giants are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against the NFC East and the total has gone ‘over’ in six of their last nine games as home favorites.
Head-to-head in this series, Philadelphia has covered the spread in six of the last seven Meetings.
