Check out the week to week schedule of your favorite NFL teams. Starting in Week 11, flexible scheduling comes into play for Sunday games. NBC has the Sunday night schedule and has the ability to move games from the afternoon to prime time. Keep your eye open for NFL network television games as well this year as the network will be in competition with Espn, and NBC for games as well.
With the Magic trying to survive in the NBA Finals odds and Phil Mickelson returning to golf betting after a leave of absence, it’s safe to say comebacks is the theme of the week in sports betting. Heck, even this weekend’s UFC betting event is called “The Comeback.”
Let’s take a look at Mickelson versus the field at the St. Jude Classic.

While BIG EAST CONFERENCE FOOTBALL continues to come up big in bowl games (12-4 SU the last three years), the fact of the matter is the league continues to shrink in stature. That’s because a dismal 15-25 ATS performance mark outside the conference last season watered down a sparkling 81-37 ATS effort the prior three years.
Game 6 – Tuesday, June 9 @ 8:00 p.m. ET
Stanley Cup betting lines: Red Wings +110, Penguins -130
Whoa, daddy. The Pens were the sports wagering underdogs in Game 5, but few NHL betting fans saw the 5-0 massacre coming.
NBA Finals – Los Angeles Lakers @ Orlando Magic
Game 3 – Tuesday, June 9 at 9:00 p.m. ET
NBA odds favorite: Magic -4
The confetti in Steeltown is still settling five months after the Pittsburgh Steelers’ run to the top of the AFC and eventual Super Bowl title.
The Steelers caught a lot of football bettors off guard last season. They were among the favorites to compete in the AFC, but with a wet-behind-the-ears coach and injuries to key players, sportsbook odds were quick to pass over Pittsburgh as a real contender.

What. A. Weekend. As if the Belmont Stakes odds weren’t enough to get us amped up, we’ve got championship action in the NBA and NHL. Let’s make some picks for the hardcourt and the ice.
NBA Finals Betting – Orlando Magic @ Los Angeles Lakers
Game 2 – Sunday, June 7 @ 8:00 p.m. ET
Game 5 – Saturday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET
NHL betting favorite: Red Wings -155
From a potential sweep to a classic – that’s the type of turnaround we’ve seen in Stanley Cup betting over the last couple of games. The Red Wings are tiring, struggling to keep up with the bigger, younger, more physical Pens.
It will be déjà vu for jockey Calvin Borel at the 141st running of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday.
Borel could pick up a personal Triple Crown as he jumps back on Mine That Bird, the favorite to win the $1-million, 1.5-mile ‘Test of Champions’ in New York.
Borel rode then-longshot Mine That Bird to victory at the Kentucky Derby, and then switched to the filly Rachel Alexandra for the Preakness Stakes, riding her to the winner’s circle. The filly was not entered in the Belmont Stakes.
The universe appears to have corrected itself.
A year ago, the Tampa Bay Rays, a perennial doormat, surprised everyone as they dominated the AL East division, beating out the usual contenders, the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, for the division title.
The Belmont odds will likely steal the attention on Saturday, but sports fans shouldn’t forget about MLB betting this weekend. There are some crucial matchups, including a Rays/Yankees tilt that will tell us a lot about just how far the Yankees have come – and how far the Rays have to go.

Preview: Pocono is known as the “Tricky Triangle” racetrack. It’s 2.5 miles in length with three different corners and three different straights, making it a challenge for both drivers and crew chiefs. Rain may be an issue at Pocono, particularly on Friday, though it’s in the forecast all three days. NASCAR announced a significant rule change this week with restarts throughout the entire race going to double file.
The Belmont Stakes odds were supposed to be a two-horse race but, with Rachel Alexandra pulling out, it’s not a one-horse show.
In the 2009 NBA Finals, many people were expecting a two-horse race between Kobe and Lebron, and although it didn’t happen, it might be a two-horse race of a different kind.
